Jill Conroy is McKinley-Thatcher’s ESL and Math Intervention teacher. This is her second year living in Colorado, and teaching at McKinley Thatcher. She was raised in Petaluma, CA, and attended college at California State University, Chico. There, she received her degree and a Multiple Subject teaching credential. Before moving to Colorado, Jill taught third grade. Last year she was our Technology teacher.
Jill feels fortunate to have the opportunities to teach new subjects, and continually expand her skill set. She loves that she has been able to get to know and work with all the students in our school! She loves teaching; she loves to watch students’ brains grow as they learn new things, help build their confidence, and push them to take risks and try different ways of doing things.
In her free time, Jill enjoys running. She brings her passion for running to our school through coaching Girls on the Run. She enjoys sharing this interest with the girls!
