Third Grade Teacher



Ms. Evans is the 3rd grade teacher at McKinley-Thatcher Elementary. Ms. Evans loves the McKinley- Thatcher community and is excited to continue to grow in the community. She is passionate about the power of learning, cultivating a strong community, and empowering her students to access their greatest potential. She loves teaching 3rd grade because she believes it is a pivotal year in her student’s lives academically and developmentally. She is passionate about supporting the whole child with a focus on social emotional learning while teaching her students to achieve their goals. She looks forward to preparing her students to be successful 21st century learners and watching them grow!

Before becoming the 3rd grade teacher at McKinley-Thatcher, she developed her passion for experiential learning with elementary students while running education camps and school programs for the YMCA. She graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences with a minor is Elementary Education. In her free time, she enjoys painting, drawing, hiking, camping, and spending time with her friends, family and dog.
