Ken Goodman
Technology / Library

Mr. Goodman is our librarian and technology teacher. This is his 21st year in Denver Public Schools. He has previously worked in New York City, The Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, Alaska, The Navajo Indian Reservation, and Jefferson County, Co. He graduated from Buffalo College with a B.S. in elementary and special education and from Albany University with a M.L.S. in school media.
In high school and college Ken was an active member of various French clubs and associations as well as a member of his high school drama troupe. He grew up in Brooklyn and Long Island New York. He has one sister living in Hawaii. His children and grandchildren currently reside in the Denver metro area and he enjoys frequent visits and vacations with them. Mr. Goodman became a teacher because of his love for learning, his delight in other cultures, his interest in technology and his desire to share these passions with others, especially children.
Ken is very pleased to be at McKinley-Thatcher Elementary School for a number of reasons. He is a resident of Denver and is proud to be serving the community that he resides in and where his family lives. He looks forward to serving the community and providing students with multiple opportunities to develop their interests and advance their technology skills.
