Registration opens Thursday, April 11 at 6:00am and ends Monday, April 22 at 6:00pm.

Before-School Enrichments

Intermediate Band with Ms. Valerie

Join the McKinley-Thatcher band class with Ms. Valerie Erickson. This class is for intermediate students to learn more about their instruments and play new music using flute, clarinet, trumpet, sax, trombone, or baritone.

After-School Enrichments

Omniform Karate: Kindergarten to 5th

Omniform is a martial art that develops the mind, body and the character of the student. It’s a blend of tae kwon do, karate, boxing, and yoga. The intention of the training is to empower the student to consciously and deliberately develop their own unique power – a power of self –confidence, strength, and leadership that attracts positive experiences around them. We welcome students with no martial arts experience as well as students with previous experience.

Families may purchase a uniform, jump rope, gear pack, and study guide directly from the instructor for $72. Please note that you do not have to make this purchase.

Young Rembrandts Art Class: Kindergarten – 5th grade

The season of spring gives our artists new inspiration and lessons like the Bee Graphic and historical Model T. Every child will draw their lesson in detail and learn new techniques like how to add a little whimsy to our version of Aladdin’s Lamp and some adorable baby dragons. Creativity, imagination and whole brain learning are all happening every week.

Mad Science — Backyard Safari: ECE-4 & Kindergarten

Grab your binoculars and join us on a scientific expedition to explore the birds and beasts that inhabit our backyards! In this safari of fun, we will discover a variety of animals, worms, and butterflies, and even dig for dinosaur bones. Discover the different types of life in the sea, see what stars really look like up in space, find out what causes the weather and learn more about the air around us! It is sure to be an adventure!

Spanish Club — REGISTRATION CLOSED

Join our Spanish Club to learn a new language through singing songs, playing games, and doing cultural art & craft activities. Expect students to get an intro into the Spanish language and learn pieces of Spanish and Latin American culture. This is a PTA-sponsored club.

Girls on the Run — REGISTRATION CLOSED

Girls on the Run (GotR) inspires girls to a lifetime of self-respect and a healthy lifestyle through an innovative program that combines training for a 3.1 mile run/walk with fun, health education lessons.
