Dr. Lopez-Crowley has worked in the field of education as an administrator and teacher for over three decades. She worked for 22 years in Jefferson County as an elementary teacher as well as a leader in the Office of Educational Equity. She joined Denver Public Schools 10 years ago. She was an administrator for 7 years and then joined the Gifted and Talented department as an itinerate. She has also served as an adjunct professor at The University of Denver.

Dr. Lopez-Crowley holds a PhD in Educational Leadership from the University of Denver. She earned a Master’s degree in Information Technology from The University of Colorado, a Master’s degree in Technology from Lesley College, and her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Metropolitan State University.
