Upcoming Restaurant Night: Birdcall on 11/10!

We’re excited to announce our upcoming restaurant night with Birdcall, all day on Tuesday, November 10! Dine with Birdcall using our special code (mckinley) and they’ll donate 35% of sales back to our school! You can place an online order at www.eatbirdcall.com or visit any Birdcall location for dine-in or take-out.

Online Autumn Book Fair: 11/9 to 11/22!

Our online autumn book fair starts on Monday, November 9 and runs through November 22. Up to 25% of our fair profits can be used to purchase library and RIF books for our school, so please consider doing some shopping with us! We’re happy to announce that the latest Diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Deep End will be available for purchase through the fair – you can check out the fair catalog. Start shopping!

Book Fair Contest

Our PTA is asking kids to share their favorite book or character by submitting pictures of themselves with their book, making a drawing, or writing a couple of sentences. One submission from each classroom will be randomly selected to receive a free book from the fair! The contest runs from November 9 to November 17, with winners chosen on November 18. Details on how to submit will come out soon – but start talking to your kids about their favorite books now!

  • Our November PTA meeting is next Thursday, November 12 from 7 to 8 p.m. on Zoom! Check ClassDojo on November 12, to get the meeting link.
  • This month, we’re celebrating our third school value, challenge yourself!
  • November 9, is McKinley Monday at Divino! Stop by to have 25% of the profits from your purchase donated back to our school.
  • Term 1 grades have been entered and are now available to view in ParentPortal!
  • Just a reminder to scan your Box Tops for Education and raise money for our school!
