Art Room Snapshot!
Our 4th and 5th graders made their own characters out of paintbrushes in art this week!

RESCHEDULED: Talent Show is Thursday, May 26!
We have rescheduled our annual Talent Show to Wednesday, May 26, 12:45pm-1:45pm. This change allows more students to submit a talent video and more time for our performers to practice! Students who would like to participate but haven’t yet submitted a talent video may do so until Sunday, May 16. Visit our Talent Show info sheet here for instructions on submitting a video.
And, just a reminder that we are live-streaming our Talent Show this year, so all students and families will be able to watch the show online! Please call us at (720) 424-5600 with any questions.
RESCHEDULED: Field Day is Thursday, May 27!
We’re holding Field Day for our kindergarten to 5th grade students on Thursday, May 27! (ECE students will participate in their own Field Day on Monday, May 24.) Unfortunately, due to the district’s health and safety guidelines, families are not able to attend this year’s Field Day. We’ll share lots of pictures instead!
In-Person Students
In-person students will attend Field Day activities during a special extended specials block.
- 8:45am-10:45am — 2nd-5th grade
- 11:45am-1:45pm — kindergarten & 1st grade
100% Remote Students
100% remote students may join their in-person class at school for the entire school day, for their grade’s Field Day session, or may complete remote field day activities like last year.
If your 100% remote student would like to participate in Field Day in-person, please let our main office AND your classroom teacher know by Monday, May 17. As a reminder, all students must wear masks every day and will participate in the daily health screening before they can enter the building. Thank you!

- We’re holding rain-or-shine Community Garden Volunteer Days on Saturday, May 15 and Saturday, May 29 and a Plant Adoption Day after school on Tuesday, May 25! Sign up for a Volunteer Day here and check out this flyer for more information on our Plant Adoption Day.
- Library book and school Chromebook return: we are collecting all library books, school-issued Chromebooks, and chargers during the last week of school! See below to find the due dates for your children. Please help us out by removing any stickers on your children’s Chromebooks!
- ALL library books DUE — Monday, May 24
- In-Person K & 1st Chromebooks — return school Chromebooks & charger by Monday, May 24.
- In-Person 2nd-5th Chromebooks — return school Chromebooks & charger by Tuesday, May 25.
- 100% Remote Student Chromebooks — return school Chromebooks & charger on Friday, May 28, 12:00pm-3:00pm or Tuesday, June 1, 8:00am-3:00pm.
- Save-the-Date: we are holding an in-person, outdoor 5th Grade Continuation on Wednesday, May 26, 2:15pm-3:00pm. Per DPS health policies, only four family members per student will be able to attend. Masks and physical distancing are required. Click here to see our invitation!
- The last day of school for K-5th graders is a half-day on Friday, May 28, with students dismissed at 11:00am. There will be no Discovery Link care this day. (ECE families: your last day of school is Thursday, May 27.)
- Our last CSC meeting of the year is on Zoom next Thursday, May 20, 5:00pm-6:00pm. We’ll share our Zoom link on ClassDojo on the day of the meeting.
