The End of Another School Year!

Wow, McKinley families, this is the very last newsletter of the school year! We’ve made it through a year like no other, and we couldn’t have done it without your support. We hope all of our families have a wonderful and safe summer break, and we’ll see you again in August! Families can keep an eye on our website for back-to-school information coming out in July.

Please keep in mind that our main office closes for summer at 3:00pm on next Tuesday, June 1. We’ll reopen on Friday, July 30!

In Case You Missed It: May 25 Principal’s Update

We are finally wrapping up this rollercoaster of a year! We want to extend a HUGE thank-you to our families for your support and encouragement, for cheering us on when we didn’t know if we would make it through this year, and for the endless gifts of coffee! Everything you do for our staff helps us to serve your children the best we can. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Student Report Cards

Report cards are available to view in ParentPortal starting today! If you haven’t set up your ParentPortal account, you can do so here. If you have trouble accessing your student’s report card online, please call us at (720) 424-5600 for help!

• A heads-up for families: we are shutting down our McKinley-Thatcher school app at the end of May 2021 and transitioning to ClassDojo as our main mobile communication platform beginning in the 2021-2022 school year.
  
  
• REMINDER: we’re offering morning Discovery Link care next school year in addition to after-school care! See this flyer for more information!

• REMINDER: families who are interested in the remote learning option for the 2021-2022 school year must complete the Learning Option Selection form in ParentPortal by next Friday, June 4. Please see our full information on remote learning for next school year in last week’s Principal’s Update here.
