Many of our students have received their COVID vaccinations over the past month. Once your child has received their second dose, please share a copy of their vaccination card with the health office. You can bring the card to our front door so we can copy it, make a hardcopy and drop it off with our office, or email a copy to Jennifer Iltis, our nurse, at Jennifer_Iltis@dpsk12.org.
Please also know that, once students are two weeks past their second dose, they will not need to quarantine after a COVID exposure unless they have symptoms. If you have any questions, please email or call Nurse Jen (Jennifer_Itlis@dpsk12.org, (720) 424-5606).
Our December PTA meeting is this coming Tuesday, December 14, 5:30pm at the Denver Beer Company – Downing Street Taproom (2425 S. Downing Street)! PTA is meeting outside around a fire pit and will be enjoying some socializing rather than focusing just on business. The meeting begins at 5:30pm with signing cards for staff holidays bonuses and drinks, followed by some brief PTA business at 6:00pm. People are welcome to stay to socialize afterwards if they’d like!
Our PTA collects online donations through their Food Pantry fund to help support school families during Winter Break and throughout the school year. Please consider making a donation here if you are able!
We are still looking for a couple more volunteers to help us sort and pack our food drive donations on Monday, December 13! People can sign up here to join for any amount of time on Monday from 7:30am to 10:30am or to be on the backup list for Tuesday.
Please note that all volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID, meaning that they’ve received both doses of their vaccine more than two weeks ago. Volunteers will need to provide their vaccination card and a photo ID upon entering our building.
