3rd-5th Grade CMAS Testing — April 2022

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be participating in our annual Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) testing in April 2022. CMAS is aligned to our state’s rigorous academic standards and is designed to gauge how well students are mastering their grade level standards and how prepared they are for their next grade. These assessment results are intended to provide one measure of your child’s academic progress.

3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will each take math and literacy tests, while our 5th graders will also complete additional science testing. 

  • CMAS Literacy Testing (3rd-5th grade): April 11, April 12, & April 13.
  • CMAS Math Testing (3rd-5th grade): April 14, April 15, & April 18. 
  • CMAS Science Testing (5th grade only): April 25, April 26, & April 27.

CMAS Testing Calendar

During our CMAS testing window, please help your child succeed by:

  • As much as possible, scheduling appointments and other absences on non-testing days. 
  • Ensuring your child gets a good night’s sleep and a nutritious breakfast on testing days. 
  • Arriving at school on time (7:30am) on testing days. This ensures that your child can test with their class during our regular testing sessions rather than our make-up sessions.
  • Reassuring your child that test scores are only one indicator of their progress.
