Vol. 7, No. 29

Online Auction Begins TOMORROW, April 8!

Our online silent auction opens TOMORROW (Sat., April 8) at NOON!

Our incredible volunteers worked to bring in a huge variety of items, so there’s something for everyone. Check it out, and share our link (https://auctria.events/FlourishMcT2023) with grandparents and other family far and wide!

As always, funds raised through the auction will pay for our librarian. New this year, we’re hoping to raise enough to also hire a health aide to be on campus when our school nurse isn’t to make sure there’s always someone available to help with scrapes and tummy aches.

Tickets to the live auction party on Friday, April 14 are still available on the auction site! Invite your neighbors with future McT kids to join the fun, too!

Garden Volunteer Day: TOMORROW, April 8!

Join our Garden Club TOMORROW, Saturday, April 8 from 9:00am to 11:30am for our Garden Volunteer Day! Families are invited to come help clean up the garden by pulling weeds, moving dirt, and fixing our last garden bed!

Bring your gardening gloves and a coffee mug — there will be free coffee & tea!

Please Let Us Know Your Plans for Next School Year!

ECE-4th grade families, please help us plan ahead for next school year by letting us know here if your family will be returning to McKinley-Thatcher! Please complete this form by Monday, April 17, 2023.

If you are NOT returning, completing this form helps us fill empty spots and make sure our school budget is accurate. 5th grade families do not need to respond.

If you have completed the paper version of this form in your child’s Friday Folder, you do not need to submit the digital version. Thank you!

Each of McKinley’s classrooms receive a free SPREE field trip every year, and SPREE relies on donations to provide these experiences at no cost to our school. Donate to givingSPREE this April and help keep Denver youth playing outside!
