Posted February 7, 2025
We can’t wait to see you for our Cook-Off event tonight (Friday, February 7)!
If you’re planning to bring a dish or donate a dessert, check out our food guidelines on our website here!
We are excited to celebrate Valentine’s Day at school on the morning of Thursday, February 13!
If you are donating food to a classroom celebration, please be sure to bring ONLY store-bought food with no nuts and no sesame listed in the ingredients. You can also check with your child’s teachers for any other food allergies in their classrooms!
If you prefer that your child does not participate in our Valentine’s Day celebration, we will have an alternative activity available in the main office. Please submit this online form or return the paper form that went home in our February 7 Friday folders in order to have your child participate in the alternative activity.
To celebrate Black History Month, our school’s DEI committee is launching a project to help engage our students in reflecting on Black leaders in our community and nation. In our February 7 Friday folders, students are receiving a worksheet (digital version available here!) inviting them to create a drawing or write a short paragraph that represents their personal connection to an influential Black leader. Students may complete this project at home, then return completed projects to their homeroom teachers. Completed submissions will be displayed on our Black History Month bulletin board by the cafeteria!
