We are seeking urgent help from our community to raise enough funds to continue our school’s essential core programs!

Your Support Is Needed More Than Ever!

The stakes have never been higher to make our McKinley-Thatcher PTA Auction a success. Without your support, we will be forced to make devastating cuts that will fundamentally change the McKinley-Thatcher experience.

Why Do We Need to Give More?

This is a crucial time for McKinley-Thatcher and the timeline is urgent. Following further significant budget cuts from Denver Public Schools (DPS) for the 2026-2027 school year, we must raise $250,000 to preserve the essential programs and staff that make our school exceptional.

Unfortunately, public school funding alone cannot provide the comprehensive education our children deserve. With declining enrollment across DPS, schools are facing budget cuts. These DPS budget cuts are causing McT to eliminate core programs. This year, community support is not just helpful, it’s essential.
