2026-27 Online School Registration Window – August 11 to 16

Our Online School Registration Window is open from 9:00 AM on Tuesday, August 11 to midnight on Sunday, August 16. Families will register here (please note that this link will not be live until 9:00 AM on Tuesday, August 11).

Please Note:

If you have completed your Denver Public Schools Online Registration through Parent Portal already, thank you! However, you must also visit the registration page on our website to complete additional registration steps specific to our school.

Prepare for Registration Ahead of Time

To prepare for registration, ensure that you:

1. Can access your Parent Portal account.
   • To create a Parent Portal account, use the guide available under the “How do I create a Parent Portal account?” question on this website.
     • To create your account, you must use the email address associated with your name on your student’s school record. Please call us at (720) 424-5600 if you’re unsure which email address we have listed. 
   • If you’ve created a Parent Portal account and need to recover your username, click here. 
   • To recover your Parent Portal password, click here.
     
     
2. Have your student’s DPS ID number (use the DPS ID Retrieval Tool to look this up).
   
   
3. If you’ve recently moved, have an accepted proof of address document (lease, mortgage, Denver Water or Xcel bill).
   
   
4. If your student is new to McKinley or has received new immunizations since last school year, have an updated copy of their immunization record/exemption.
