McKinley-Thatcher’s International Night is Thursday, April 18 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm in our cafeteria and gym! 

International Night is an opportunity for McKinley families to come together to celebrate the many beautiful cultural heritages that make up our community. Enjoy homemade food, fun performances, and browse our diverse and multilingual book fair while you’re here! All are welcome! No need to RSVP.

Families are invited to:

• Bring a dish that is important to your family to share at our potluck dinner. 
  • To bring a dish, please complete this form (available in English, Spanish, & Vietnamese) or this form (available in Arabic).
  • Please note that bringing a dish is optional. 
  • Families are invited to join us for dinner whether or not they bring a dish!
    
    
• Dress in clothes that reflect your family’s heritage, if you want!
  
  
• Browse our multilingual book fair with Second Star to the Right in our lobby from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.
  
  
• See a martial arts demonstration on our stage at 5:00pm.
  
  
• Watch a lion dance performance in our gym at 6:00pm.

Remember that culture isn’t just from foreign countries! Bring a dish that is important to your family, no matter where you’re from.

Volunteer For International Night!

We need family volunteers to help make International Night a success! We’re especially looking for adults who speak Spanish or Arabic. If you’re available for a one-hour time commitment on the evening of Thursday, April 18, please sign up here!
