Incoming 2024-2025 kindergarten families are cordially invited to join McKinley-Thatcher’s principal and kindergarten teachers for our annual Kindergarten Round-Up! Round-Up is the perfect place to meet your children’s new teachers, learn about our school’s kindergarten program, and have a popsicle playdate with other incoming families on our playground!

WHO: incoming kindergarten students and their families.
WHAT: McKinley-Thatcher Kindergarten Round-Up
WHEN: Tuesday, May 14, 1:45pm-2:30pm (1:45pm presentation; 2:10pm playdate)
WHERE: McKinley-Thatcher cafeteria & kindergarten playground (1230 S. Grant St.)
WHY: join other new kindergarten families to learn about McKinley and meet new friends!
HOW: Please let us know you will be attending Kindergarten Round-Up by completing this RSVP form by Thursday, May 9.

Families with Current McKinley ECE Students

If your current McKinley-Thatcher ECE student will attend our Round-Up event with you, please indicate this in our RSVP form below. Families will sign their ECE students out from their classrooms at 1:45pm in order to attend.

If your current ECE student will be attending Discovery Link or an after-school enrichment after Round-Up, please bring them back to the office at 2:30pm.

If your student is scheduled to attend Discovery Link or an after-school enrichment but will be going home after Round-Up, please let the office know.

Interpretation Services Provided Upon Request!

We are happy to provide interpretation in any language upon request. Please complete our RSVP form to request interpretation services.

What If We Can’t Attend?

We will send our Kindergarten Round-Up digital presentation and other information via email on Wednesday, May 15.
