PTA Restaurant Fundraiser:
Monday, 9/30 & Tuesday, 10/1 at Chook!
Families are invited to enjoy our PTA’s upcoming restaurant fundraiser at Chook’s Pearl Street location (1300 S. Pearl St.) on Monday, 9/30 and Tuesday, 10/1!
To participate, mention McKinley to your server or enter the code “SCHOOLS20” online at Chook’s website here to have a portion of sales donated to our school!
Our PTA’s October Meeting Is Next Friday, 10/4!
Join our PTA on Friday, October 4 at 7:30 a.m. in our library for their October meeting! If you’re attending the meeting, please enter through the main door and sign in as a visitor in our lobby. Coffee is provided – please bring your own cup!

- Destination Imagination Teams at McKinley-Thatcher!
Does your child like solving challenges, working with others, being creative, and striving to reach a goal? If so, Destination Imagination’s STEAM-based (science, tech, engineering, arts, and math) challenges might be a great fit! Destination Imagination prepares kids to be the innovators of the future by combining the arts, sciences, and technology with creativity, teamwork, and problem solving.
If your child would like to participate, complete the registration form here. Also, every team will need a team manager – if your child wants to sign up, please consider volunteering as their team’s leader.
