School Picture Ordering Now Open!
We are excited to announce that Bloom School Pictures has our students’ Picture Day and class photo galleries ready for families to view! Please visit Bloom’s website to view your student’s gallery and order pictures.
To Access Your Student’s Gallery
- On Bloom’s website, scroll down to the “Order Pictures” section and click on the blue “School Year 2024-2025 Galleries” button.
- When prompted, enter the email address you’d like to use for ordering pictures.
- Click on “Fall 2024 — Student Individuals” to find your student’s individual gallery. Click on “Fall 2024 — Class Photos” to find your student’s class photo gallery.
- Enter your student’s school ID number for their gallery password.
(If you don’t know their ID number, call our main office at (720) 424-5600.)
- Review your child’s photos and order any that you’d like to.

Picture Retake Day: Wednesday, October 23
If your student was absent on their school picture day, or if you would like new individual pictures, you may sign your student up to participate in our Picture Retake Day, which is Wednesday, October 23 during school hours.
Sign up for retakes at thebloombeehive.com/mckinley. Please scroll down to the blue “Sign Up for Retakes” section and complete the sign-up form.

PTA Restaurant Fundraiser @ Sweet Cow: Wednesday, October 23
Families are invited to enjoy our PTA’s October restaurant fundraiser at Sweet Cow Ice Cream’s Platt Park location (1882 S. Pearl St .) all day on Wednesday, October 23!
Be sure to MENTION McKinley-Thatcher at the register in order to have a portion of your order total (excluding retail, gift cards, & online orders) donated back to our school!

Registration for Our Winter After-School Enrichments Is Open!
Registration for our winter session of after-school enrichment classes opened yesterday (Thursday, October 17) and closes on Tuesday, October 29. Families can check out the winter session enrichment catalog here. The catalog also includes registration instructions!

- Share Your Voice Via DPS’s Family Survey! The DPS “Your Voice / Tu Voz” Family Survey is open until Friday, November 1. This survey focuses on measuring family satisfaction at McKinley-Thatcher and across the district. Your responses to the survey directly impact changes we make to better serve our students and families! Families can access the survey here. The survey is available in the eight most common languages in DPS, including English, Arabic, Dari, Spanish, and Vietnamese!

- DPS Discount Days: buy tickets to the October 30 Colorado Avalanche game through this discount link and have $7 from each ticket sold donated back to the DPS Foundation!
