Mr. Bearfield grew up in Arkansas, inspired by his father, who was an elementary teacher. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in elementary education from the University of Arkansas. With over 13 years of experience in public, charter, and private schools, he has experience in every grade from kindergarten through fifth and served as an academic coach and school administrator.

After moving to Denver, Mr. Bearfield began teaching third grade at the International School of Denver, co-teaching in a bilingual setting and valuing the diverse, collaborative environment. He lives in the community and is excited to serve local families. In addition to teaching, he is a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves, where he has served for over 10 years.
