Nicole Eby

School Counselor

Ms. Nicole is the new school counselor at McKinley-Thatcher. She has been a school counselor for 5 years now. She was most recently at the high school setting and is very excited to be back in the world of elementary! Ms. Nicole graduated from the University of Kansas and is a big Jayhawks fan (Rock Chalk!). She also loves and is a big fan of the Denver Broncos.

Ms. Nicole was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She went to elementary school at Slavens Elementary in Denver Public Schools and graduated from Littleton High School before venturing off to the University of Kansas. While growing up in Denver, she found a passion for being outside in whatever way possible (hiking, skiing, walking her dog, picnic at the park, etc.) And while she loves Colorado and will always consider it her home, she is a huge lover of traveling and exploring other parts of the world.

Ms. Nicole and her husband, Ryan have two children under the age of two — an almost two year-old boy and a 6-month baby girl. When her family is caught up on sleep, they love to go on adventures together. She is excited for them to grow up with everything that Colorado has to offer.
