Ms. Evans is the 3rd grade math, science, and social studies teacher at McKinley-Thatcher. She has been a part of this community since 2013 and an educator since 2016. She is passionate about the power of education and developing meaningful relationships with her students and families in our school community. She enjoys seeing the ‘Ah-Ha’ moments come to life inside and outside of the classroom.

She completed her graduate program at the University of Colorado Denver for Leadership in Education and Policy Studies in 2021. She is passionate about social justice, equity in education, leadership, and researching the history and policy of education. She majored in Behavioral Sciences and minored in Elementary Education at Metropolitan State University of Denver for her undergrad program.

Some of Ms. Evans’ favorite hobbies outside of school include hiking, kayaking, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and creating art!
