PTA News
- Please join us at our first PTA meeting of the year! Next Friday September 4th, from 7:30-8AM just after drop off. We’ll kick the year off by sharing more about what the PTA is all about and what’s in store for the year – PTA meeting improvements, communication channels to follow, ways you can volunteer if you have the time, calendar events, and more. ALL are welcome – we want to hear from all voices in our McT community, so we hope to see you there.
- Did you take any fun photos from our Open House and First Day Kickoff? We’d love to have them for our Yearbook! Upload any photos you’re willing to share at this link for the Yearbook Committee.
- Kindergarten and new McT families: Come walk with us this fall! Erin and Lucy (your PTA president + vice president) will be hosting three casual morning walks so you can meet other new families and learn what the PTA is all about. The plan is to meet at drop off and walk over and around Wash Park and back – join for as much or as little work for you! (And existing McT families are of course welcome, too!) Mark your calendars for Monday Sept 14, Thursday Oct 15, and Friday Nov 13. See more on our website here.
- Follow the McT PTA on Instagram to keep up to date on the latest updates! We’ll be sharing more now that school has kicked off and it’s a great way for reminders about what we have going on.
- Just a reminder as we start the year that we’d love to hear from our entire community! We welcome and encourage input on all thoughts and perspectives, and we strive to be accessible in many ways. Come to our PTA meetings, email us at mckinleythatcher@gmail.com, connect with any of our board members directly…please don’t hesitate to share your feedback or concerns.
