Volunteers Needed:
Help Us Pack Our Food Drive Donations on 12/13!

Our PTA is looking for volunteers to help sort and pack our Food Drive donations for distribution to families! Please visit PTA’s SignUpGenius to sign up. Volunteers will be working in our cafeteria and MUST BE fully vaccinated with proof of vaccination provided upon arrival.

Volunteers are needed during the following times:

• Mon., December 13: any time between 7:30am & 10:30am (come for whatever length of time you’re able to!)
• Tues., December 14: time TBD (PTA will reach out to schedule if they don’t complete packing on Monday.)

Our Food Drive Runs Through Friday, December 10!

So far this week, we’ve collected just over 700 food items — wow! Right now, Ms. Monaghan’s first grade class is in the lead for winning the ice cream party prize for most donations. They’ve donated an amazing 116 items!! Ms. Cadle & Mr. Greg’s kindergartners are in a close second place with 110 cans and Ms. Kirkwood & Ms. Anne’s classroom is in third place with 99!

Keep up the good work and generosity, McKinley! We are so excited to share this food with people in our community!

• We have NO SCHOOL from Monday, December 20 to Monday, January 3 for our Winter Break. School resumes on Tuesday, January 4!
