Families, we are starting to make plans for January 2021 and need to know from you by Friday, December 11 if you would like to CHANGE your student’s current learning choice for the second semester of school. Currently, families have chosen between 100% virtual learning and in-person learning for the first semester. If you plan to keep the same learning option for second semester, you do not need to take any action. If you plan to switch your learning preference (from 100% remote to in-person or vice versa), you must call our main office at 720-424-5600 or e-mail our office manager, Melanie Exposito, at Melanie_Exposito@dpsk12.org to let us know of your change in preference.
We will honor as many changes as possible given our staffing changes and requirements under the DPS COVID guidelines. It is especially important to let us know if you are switching from 100% remote to in-person learning so we can maintain small cohorts for each class. As a reminder, choosing in-person learning means that your student will be attending in the building only when the district decides it is safe to return to school in-person.
