Mr. Clark is from Northern Virginia (just outside of Washington DC), but has been living in Denver for almost ten years. After graduating from Christopher Newport University with a degree in Psychology, Communications, and Leadership, he found his way into teaching Kindergarten. Mr. Clark has spent all of his years since working in education as a teacher, mentor, coach, and counselor. He has his Master’s in Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver. He is extremely passionate about working with kids, providing mental health support, and helping to develop a whole person.

Along with his time at McKinley-Thatcher, Mr. Clark works part-time at a private therapy practice, coaches high school volleyball, and runs online trivia games. He lives in the Wash Park neighborhood, enjoys reading, plays every sport, likes board games, and loves to spend time with friends and chosen family. He is super excited to be working at McKinley-Thatcher and to bring his unique set of skills to provide support to this wonderful community.
