Anna Poppy is entering her third year of teaching kindergarten and her first year at McKinley-Thatcher. She is so excited to be joining the McT team this year! She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education in the spring of 2023 and her master’s in curriculum & instruction in the summer of 2025!
In her spare time, she likes to relax with family and friends, read, and travel to new places on long breaks. She was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She has one older brother who lives in Denver as well. Her parents are originally from Greece and she has spent several summers there. She grew up in a bilingual household and still speaks Greek on a regular basis with her family. Anna is so excited to have a wonderful year full of fun and learning!
