Mr. T was born and raised in Aurora, CO. As a child, he enjoyed being outside as much as possible with his friends and brother. Camping, hiking, skiing, and golfing with the family were regular ways to spend the weekends.

He started a family and career in Charlotte, NC after graduating from Clemson University. He finally made the move back home to CO to be closer to family, where he continues to hike, ski, camp, etc. He has added mountain biking and jiu jitsu to the regular activities that keep him active. He has been teaching for a number of years in both elementary school and middle school both as a classroom teacher and as a special education teacher.
