Ms. Courtney has been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in DPS since 2008. She has worked at various ECE, elementary and middle schools around the district. She recently worked at McKinley-Thatcher, and has since returned to this lovely school after living overseas in the UK. Ms. Courtney grew up in Northern Virginia but moved to Colorado for college. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Northern Colorado. She became a SLP because she loved helping children find their voice!

Some of her hobbies include mountain biking, running, camping, skiing, traveling, and hiking. When Ms. Courtney is not at school, you can find her spending time with her husband and two sons, Easton (11) & Ollie (10), along with their dog, Tango.
