Mrs. Jones was born and raised in Denver and attended Denver Public Schools as a child. This is her second year at McKinley-Thatcher and her twenty-first year teaching in DPS. Mrs. Jones has taught all elementary grades, but most of her experience is teaching fourth grade. She attended Colorado State University and University of Northern Colorado for her undergraduate and master’s degrees.

Mrs. Jones is the proud mother of two boys, Henry and William. In her spare time, she can be found coaching her boys’ soccer teams and watching the Colorado Rapids and Colorado Avalanche. Her hobbies include biking, hiking, paddle boarding, golfing, camping, traveling, and listening to live music. She loves spending time in the outdoors with her family.
