Ms. Jennifer is a Colorado native. In fact, she was the first baby born in Highlands Ranch. At various times in her life she had thought of becoming a National Geographic photographer, landscape architect, science teacher, artist and/or a professional tennis player. In the end, she chose nursing and got both a biology and nursing degree from the University of Colorado.

Before working at McT, she was at the University of Colorado Hospital. She worked on the oncology unit for 9 years before transitioning to Denver Public Schools. The main reason for the switch was to be on her children’s schedule and to get off the dreadful night shifts. It was the best move she ever did, because she LOVES working with the kids and being a part of McT.

Some of her favorite things include skiing, hiking, climbing and reading. Fun fact- she met her husband while rock climbing. When not at school, Ms. Jennifer likes to spend her time having adventures with her husband and two girls.
