Karen Goldberg is excited to join McKinley-Thatcher as the school librarian. She was born and raised in Denver and is a DPS alumna. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Colorado State University and her Master’s Degree in Library Science from the University of Maryland. Karen has worked in a variety of law libraries in Washington D.C. and Salt Lake City, UT. For the past several years, she has worked as school librarian and long-term substitute teacher in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Some of Karen’s favorite things are reading and all things books, skiing, hiking, and travelling. When she is not at school, Karen likes to volunteer at the Denver Botanic Gardens, and spend time with her husband and family.
