Mrs. Kritzer is so excited to join the McKinley-Thatcher team this year in Kindergarten!

Mrs. Kritzer was born and raised in Marysville, Ohio. She grew up an avid Ohio State football fan and either swimming or playing volleyball daily. She attended Miami University and earned Bachelor degrees in International Studies and Spanish. She moved to Denver in 2010 to serve as an AmeriCorps volunteer with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver at the Commerce City branch, eventually taking over their education programming. After realizing her love for working with kids, she participated in the Denver Teacher Residency and earned her Master’s degree in Education: Curriculum and Instruction. She has taught in Denver Public Schools since 2015 including grades Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th.

When Mrs. Kritzer is not at McT, she loves spending time with her husband and two sons, two cats and two dogs. They love to be outside hiking, skiing, paddle boarding and simply enjoying nature.
