Class Picture Day Is Monday, 3/13!

We are holding our Class Picture Day with Bloom School Pictures on Monday, March 13! 

All picture ordering, including late orders of our fall students portraits, will take place online through Bloom’s website. We will share information in our weekly newsletter and on ClassDojo when class pictures are ready to be ordered!

Please note that families will need their student’s school ID number to access picture ordering. If you don’t have your student’s ID number, visit studentidretrieval.dpsk12.org or call our office at (720) 424-5600.

Big and Small, We Need Them All!

Our PTA Auction Committee is still in need of donations for our upcoming auction in April. This is our largest fundraiser of the year, and we need you all to help make it a success! Handmade items, sharing a skill, fine wine or liquor, time at a vacation home – whatever it is you have to give, we’re so grateful!

We are also very grateful for anyone who can donate time to help us solicit local donations — we’ll provide the tools, but we need your feet and voice!

REMINDER:
RSVP for Our Social-Emotional Learning Night by Tonight, 3/3!

There’s still time to RSVP for our Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Night on Tuesday, March 7 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm! SEL Night is focused on social-emotional learning specifically for parents and caregivers, with the goal of helping our families learn about a variety of important topics to best support their children at home and at school. We’ll have free pizza dinner for families, free childcare for McKinley students, and free interpretation in our learning sessions for adults!

• Just a reminder: registration for our spring after-school enrichments is open until 10:00pm on Tuesday, March 7!

• Mark your calendars: we have NO SCHOOL on Friday, March 10 (McKinley teacher planning day) and NO SCHOOL from Monday, March 27 to Monday, April 3 (Spring Break). School resumes on Tuesday, April 4.

  • Gymnastics Playgroup‘s mission is to build confidence and coordination through movement and exploratory play. Their next class is Sunday, March 12 at the University of Denver’s gymnastics facility.  The class is designed for those kiddos walking – age 12. Learn more and register at gymnastics playgroup.com!
