Lyndsey is excited to join the McKinley-Thatcher family as one of our first grade teachers. She is a Colorado native, raised in Highlands Ranch. Lyndsey went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received her BA in Early Childhood Education and Child Development. After graduation, she worked in Durham Public Schools before returning home to Denver.

Lyndsey has since taught kindergarten and first grade over the past seven years and has begun pursuing her Master’s in Education. Lyndsey values education and realizes the power of building a strong foundation in the early years of young learners. She hopes to pass on her passion and love of school and community to her sweet first graders.
