Ms. Michelle was born and raised in Colorado and grew up in the Platt Park neighborhood, where her parents still live. She loves spending time with them  and her sister whenever she can. When she’s not with family, she enjoys relaxing with her partner, Jared, and their three pets—a car named Bear, a dog named Zeb, and a kitten named Mooshu.

Michelle discovered her love for teaching young children early on and followed that passion to the University of Northern Colorado, where she earned her BA in Early Childhood Education. In 2020, she completed her MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Denver. She has been teaching ECE at McT since 2022 and feels grateful to be part of such a supportive and joyful school community.
