Tera is excited to be part of the McKinley-Thatcher community for the second year as a part-time math intervention teacher. This will be Tera’s 21st year teaching in Denver Public Schools. She has held a variety of positions, including teaching Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade in ELA-S (Spanish) classrooms and Math Intervention.

Tera grew up in Oregon and is a huge fan of the Oregon Coast. She went to college at Milligan University in Tennessee for a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and furthered her education with a Master’s degree in School Counseling.

Tera loves everything about her family and the adventures that can be had in Colorado and around the world. She loves traveling, hiking, coffee and reading a good book on a rainy day.
